FLORENCE, Ala. - The University of North Alabama will host a "Best Practices Research" symposium, Tuesday, Oct. 13, beginning at 9:30 a.m., on campus.
The event will feature numerous presentations from UNA faculty and staff members as well as a guest lecture from Dr. Jessie Moore. Moore currently serves as the associate director for the Center for Engaged Learning and is also an associate professor of professional writing and rhetoric at Elon University.
In addition to the special guest lecture, the event will feature workshops that will help students and faculty learn better ways to conduct research. The workshops range from finding all the available research tools to how faculty can do a better job of mentoring students.
